Gore Laughlin is highly qualified in the field of physical training and is especially interested in injury prevention, rehabilitation and movement education. He has been practising and researching methods of mind-body exercise for 15 years. Fairly early on he came to realise that there isn’t one particular discipline which is the right one for everybody. There is no “one size fits all” answer to an optimum fit and well body. Realising that most of his clients suffer from the adverse effects of a sedentary 21st century lifestyle such as stiffness, muscle tension, chronic pain and lack of range of movement through their own individual postural bad habits, he became concerned at some of the exercises that they were attempting to do in standard Pilates and yoga classes, etc. knowing that unless people were at a higher state of “body awareness”, they would be more likely to injure themselves than ever get fitter or stronger. Gore’s focus is firmly on helping people get more educated and more attuned in their own body which will then lead to greater strength, suppleness and overall fitness but to achieve this SAFELY and SMARTLY. He became convinced that the mind-body connection is the key to wellness and incorporates his vast knowledge of this into every class he does.
