Conscious yoga is a special kind of yoga class that encourages you to focus on how you feel and not on how you look! Regardless of your age, size, gender, fitness ability or previous experience you will be at home in this non-judgmental environment where everyone works to their own level.
Great for the mind
If you’re stressed out by work or just the many pressures of modern day living this class will help you calm an anxious, cluttered mind by bringing your awareness to your body and your breath. And as you are guided to focus on the physical sensations, unwanted thoughts will melt away building a more focused and resilient mind.
Great for the body
Through approaching postures in a mindful and non-competitive way you will improve your mind-body coordination and, because working in this way literally rewires the brain, you will see very real and long-lasting results such as greater flexibility, body control, posture and strength. If you have tried yoga in the past and found it too physically challenging or perhaps you’ve even injured yourself, let us reassure you that ‘Conscious Yoga’ will be very different. The results will come from learning to approach yoga with awareness, making it a very personal practice, and not from forcing yourself in to the “perfect posture” to impress your teacher.
Suitable for anyone whether completely new to yoga or not. Particularly good for dealing with the harmful effects of a stressful and/or sedentary lifestyle.

- You can purchase a 4 week course (£36) or an 8 week course (£64).
- If you miss up to 2 classes you can carry these over.
- There will be an option to continue attending a regular class at the end of your course.
