Gentlemen of Milton Keynes!
Heard about the amazing benefits of yoga and want to give it a go? But aren’t quite sure that you’re going to fit in?
Struggling to switch off from work stress, and having difficulty sleeping?
Feeling stiff and achy from sitting too much and concerned about not exercising (or even moving) enough?
Worried you could turn up to a class full of yoga cliches?
As it happens there’s a whole load of men who feel exactly the same way. Who’d have guessed!
Now, imagine there were a small, friendly class of like-minded fine fellows learning yoga from a male teacher with a martial arts background. Now that sounds more like it, doesn’t it?
Well that’s exactly what we are offering in our “Move better, feel stronger & learn to relax” Men’s Yoga Trial Class.
And imagine if that class was put together with the express intention of:
>Teaching stress relieving techniques.
>Increasing calm, focus and relaxation.
>Increasing flexibility and improving posture.
>Building strength safely in a non-competitive environment.
Sounds good, right?
Because we believe in giving people a chance to see if it’s a good fit for them, we are currently offering a class on us!
To book a complimentary “Move better, feel stronger & learn to relax” trial class just fill in the form below.
The YOGA FOR MEN class runs every Wednesday at 19:45 to 20:45
About the Instructor
Yoga @ Body IQ Studio is taught by David Ellard of Mind and Body Movement.
David is an experienced Yoga Teacher, and Personal Trainer. He also teaches and practices a number of supplemental practices such as Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Mindfulness, and is a 4th Dan Black Belt instructor of Aikido. He regularly blends elements of all of these into his classes at Body IQ Studio.
David believes in demystifying yoga and bringing the benefits of this holistic mind-body practice to as many people as possible, especially people who may not normally be inclined to try yoga.
Some re-assuring words from David…
“You absolutely don’t have to be flexible, you absolutely don’t have to have ever walked into a yoga class before, and you absolutely don’t have to wear leggings (although you can if you want!)
Instead you’ll be joining a great group of like-minded gents as they get together to practice, smile and work on building functional strength, mobility, and take a few moments to be quiet and mindful in the midst of a busy week.
This is a class taught by a man, that adds a healthy male twist to a regular yoga class.”
